Free plugin for additional modulation inside Unify:

After better understanding how to setup this free modulation plugin MCCgen with Unify (thanks @Robert.P  ) I have decided to renew my efforts to bring this very elegant and free tool to your attention. It provides instant extra modulation capabilities to the Unify Macro Knobs via CC control and subsequent modulation ... (using a 8 modulator subset of the Melda modulation Engine. (LFO, Envelope, Random, Pitch etc))

The short video on this linked page gives some more info on how to setup and operate

Shane: are CC's to be regarded as local parameters, so can be different per embedded Unify; or are they rather global in nature?

Not global. CC's generated inside one Unify instance are passed to embedded instances, whose CC/knob assignments are unique to that embedded instance.

Thanks Shane,

I only mentioned the Melda Tool as a quick hack, knowing that your implementation of such will be exceeding our expectations (as usual)
Many thanks to you, John and Taylor for bringing us such joy!

I think it's great that Unify users are sharing their experience with third-party tools, especially free ones. My time is limited, and it doesn't make sense for me to try to duplicate the functionality of every third-party MIDI effect out there. Unify's ability to use all kinds of MIDI effect plug-ins, in addition to its own built-in ones, is one of its main strengths.

Of course, knowing what features users find most valuable in third-party tools of all kinds also ideas for what I might add to Unify in future.

Saw the CCRider in action today; Congrats! It makes the above Melda plugin a lot less useful within Unify ... 😉
