When I try to start any razor chill patches from the unified library, I am getting a message saying Reaktor can't find razor-unify.ens. I've done a search across all my drives and it's not seeing that file and I don't see it in the zip file that the library came with. Any suggestions?

You are usually so responsive, surprised not to hear back on this...

Hi Peter - I'm sorry for the late replies - I am checking to see if I need to rebuild the Unified library. Sorry - a lot going on. Stay tuned and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

<<This file was saved with a newer version of Reaktor 6! Please update your software>>

After yesterday's broadcast; I get this message when I try and load  any razor, chill evil or rotten preset in Unify.

I check Ni Access and I have latest Reaktor version 6.4.3. I redownloaded and installed the preset libraries from my pluginguru account.

PC: Windows 10 21H2

Please advise.

@jim137

There's a chance you might still have an older version of Reaktor (as well as the latest one) which Unify is still trying to use. Please try loading Reaktor manually in Unify (INIT patch, click the bullet icon next to "Sine Wave Synth" and swap in Reaktor). Check what version comes up. If it's not 6.4.3, go to Unify's Known Plug-Ins list, delete the entry for Reaktor, and then add the new one from wherever Native Access stores your VST plug-ins. (In Native Access, go to Preferences and check the entry for "VST 53 Location". The default location on Windows is C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\VSTPlugins 64 bit).

That worked. Old version 6.2 something. Updating fixed it

Thank You for such a quick response.

Hello, I have the same issue with all three (Razor Chill, Evil Razor, and Rotten Razor). Any solutions? Thanks!

I've been having this issue too. I re-installed Reaktor; tried to re-scan Unify, used AU, VST, & VST3, but I get nothing. Any other ideas to try? I'm running M1Pro MBP MacOS 12.6.2, Reaktor 6.4.3, Unify 1.9.1

The razor-unify.ens file is simply a copy of the razor ensemble renamed to razor-unify.ens. Nothing else is changed in the ensemble file, it simply is a duplicate with the name of the file changed.

What's happening to me with when I choose the PluginGuru Razor libraries is that selecting a patch brings up Reaktor's fx section, not the player so I get no sound.

@pluginguruforums I'm very late with my response. However, I copied the file and renamed it, and it worked!!! Thanks a million, John 🙂
