I bought the Spitfire Library the day it was available and think it is magnificent. What a great surprise to now be offered the opportunity to use it in Unify. I have downloaded and installed in Unify but unfortunately it seems to be a different Library of orchestral sounds not voices. Please inform me how to adjust the options in Unify if I am wrong.
Best wishes
Neil
Most likely you haven't yet registered the new Spitfire plug-in into Unify's Known Plug-Ins List.
I had registered the plug-in into Unify's Known Plug-Ins List but in AudioUnit Format not VST which I did know I should have done but even missed it when I checked the list. Please excuse the fundamental error but your nudge helped me sort it so many thanks, and the Unified Epic Choir is superb with wonderful combos.
Cheers
Neil
It is very important to do not only "Building Patch Database" but also "Scan** for new or update VST/VST3 Plugins" for such errors.
A full scan will work, of course, but as the manual page states, it's usually more efficient to add new plug-ins to Unify's Known Plug-Ins List manually, one at a time, right after installing them.
I also had a problem with the Epic Choir unified version. I had previously recorded tracks with the Spitfire version, and when I replaced the sound source with the unified versions, they did not play. I discovered that the unified versions were transposed outside the range of the instruments. I had to go into each one (I used several) and zero out the transposition to make them play. This happened with both the combined BTAS patches, and the individual BT and AS patches.
I am having the same problem. I do not see the Unified Spitfire Epic Choir anywhere.
For some reason it disappeared from the list but it's back! Direct link if you want it now:
