Hi All,

I am just new to Unify and loving it. I downloaded the Pendulate Unified patches (from the official list on the Unify page) but have found that I get an error when trying to load nearly all of the patches saying the Pendulate VST cannot be loaded. I can manually load it into an instrument no problems, and there a few patches beginning with "z" that load Pendulate but without the correct patch loaded up. I tried downloading the guru file again and reinstalling but same problem. The unified patches for all my other third party VSTs (Repro, Pigments etc.) all work fine.
Also, I have the other Newfangled Audio synth - Generate and would love to get the unified patches, or perhaps do it myself for others to use. Has anyone started work on that yet?

Thanks,

Ben

@dublblind

It works fine here; make sure that Unify knows about the VST by looking in the known plugins list. If it's not there then either drag/drop the VST onto the Unify known plugins or do a scan of all plugins.

I Unified Generate v1.2 a while back (approx 700 patches) and sent it to John but he's been busy on loads of other projects, so here's my Unified version.

Note:

  • I added the tag 1.2 in Unify so that you can easily find the new presets.
  • For the many artist presets I added the artist initials to the preset name if they were missing in Generate.
  • The factory library includes all of the Pendulate patches so I have included those with a (P) after the patch name.
  • I have also included macro knob mappings for the first 8 knobs so I hope this is of use.

Thanks very much guys. Turns out my VST2 of Pendulate had installed in an odd place, and Unify could only see the VST3. Reinstalled the VST2 to my regular folder and everything working now. Thanks so much for the Generate file, that's awesome. Cheers!

Hi Jeremy

I am going though my library of synths to determine which ones I can tackle next to Unify. Generate is on my list but is seems you have already done it. However, it looks like the link is dead. Can you repost the link or make it available in some way?

Thanks,

Doug Rintoul.

Hi Doug,

I have updated it to v1.3 including the latest patches and I have sent it to John to see if he wants to include it on the Unify webpage as Pendulate is already there.

Watch this space.
