End of a Cha-Pter - Tribute to my old dog, now gone

Hello friends, so yesterday, March 25, 2026, we said our final goodbye to our last Akita, named Cha Cha, who made it to 16 years, 4 months and 15 days.  This is remarkable in itself as most Akitas dont live past 12 years.  She was an incredible girl, loyal, sweet and very much a character.  You can see her on our Instagram and YouTube channels ... Anyway, as such, we are pretty bummed out today, the house seems empty, just me and Mrs. Nothwood rattling around feeling a bit lost.  If you've ever lost a pet, its like losing a family member, or it should be! lol. We've had dogs for over 40 eyars, and now we've decided thats it... getting too old to get a new one.

So I decided to distract myself by using the record function in Unfiy2 standalone and just randomly pick BPM PAD patches whilst playing live.  The resulting tune is a bit bizarre, so beware that it is rather trippy and a sea of sound at times, some really big bottom end, sounds great on headphones and earbuds, I have not had time to audition on my monitors, studio is ripped apart currently.  I took the file into Cubase and automated a little flange and phaser action here and there, but thats it, compression and out she came.

I still marvel at how easy it is to create something unique with Unify2 ... an awesome product.  If you dont have it, get it.
