L - O - V - E From Today's livestream
I had so much fun earlier today sharing some virtual instruments.
A recent Plugin Guru live stream featured the GForce M-Tron MK II and it really captured my imagination.
The chord accompaniment was especially interesting, the only problem I had was wrapping my head around the key layout for triggering the chords, but I had a solution.
For this particular song, I programmed a MIDI file that played the chord changes in time for me to play and sing along with.
I then saved it as a type 0 MIDI file and brought it into MIDIBOX to trigger the M-Tron MK II.
The MKII was set to synch to the HOST Tempo and Unify's transport was set to the BPM of the recorded MIDI file.
I then created a second instrument layer and flew in Keysacpe to serve as the piano that I would play LIVE.
MIDI BOX was set to trigger as a ONE-SHOT when I played the lowest key on my controller. I had the Highest and Lowest Key set to it to exclude accidentally triggering anything from other keys.
You can share in all of the fun here:
Love it! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much for all you do. Whenever I want to smile and feel good about the world, I watch one of your videos.
