I have been experimenting with creating my own multi-samples for Unify and Reaper has an absolutely amazing workflow for recording, editing, and rendering samples.
Plus, there are scripts available for automation of certain tasks.
The rendering capabilities are stunning. I record tracks and then separate them into regions for each sample. Then, I use the Region Matrix render function along with wildcards for file naming. You can export to various file formats and also normalize renders on the way out.
David Hillowitz (Decent Sampler) has done some YouTube videos on the subject (Example: "How I make sample libraries - 2020 Edition - Kontakt, SFZ, Decent Sampler, REAPER) and there are tons of videos by Kenny Gioia and others on specific Reaper features.
Anyone else using Reaper for this purpose?
