Hi,

I have a strange behaviour with Unify in Ableton Live 10. When I use Unify in Ableton Live the CPU load is higher if the Unify window is on the Imac screen. When I move Unify to my Thunderbolt Display the CPU load drops down for a significant amount. I also get some dropouts from time to time if I use Unify on the Imac display where it works seamlessly on the thunderbolt display.
This can be seen in both Unify CPU Meter as well as the Ableton CPU Meter.

Very interesting. Is your iMac screen a retina display, and the external display non-retina? That could explain it, at least partially.

Please tell us the specs of your iMac and external display.

Yes you are right the Imac is Retina, the thunderbolt display is not.
