Is it possible to audition patches in the patch browser without actually loading them into unify?  For example if I have already loaded a patch and I want to add another patch as extra layers, it would be nice to be able to addition the patches without them loading into (then me having to delete) them from my existing patch.

Thanks for any help on this.

This one is also on the to-do list. There are a couple of different ways to do it, and neither is simple.

In the meantime, I suggest that you add an empty Unify layer, then open that Unify and use its patch browser to try different patches. When you find one you like, you can either continue using it within the embedded Unify, or go back to the main Unify, right-click the patch, and choose "add layers to current patch".

(If the patch you want has only one INST layer, you can also use John's technique of copying the layer to the clipboard, then using "PASTE - Replace layer" in the main Unify, to swap out the embedded Unify and swap in the new INST layer in one step.)

@getdunne Thanks, that's great way of doing it, I wish I'd thought of that! 😀
