[Solved] BlueArp - Save/Load Plugin State Broken?

Hi, by default BlueArp loads its factory bank of presets with some predefined settings and programs.

  1. I created my own bank (I changed default settings and cleared/initialized all programs) then I saved it as init.fxb file (using BlueArps "save as" command).
  2. Also, I saved it as a Unify MIDI layer
  3. Additionally I saved plugin state using the op. button next to BlueArp slot.

I can successfully recall all my custom settings either by

  1. Loading my init.fxb directly to BlueArp
  2. Loading my MIDI Layer Preset

However, (3) loading my customized plugin state doesn't recall my programs and some other settings I made - i.e. instead of blank programs there are still factory patches. Program chains are not cleared. MIDI sustain msg. option rolls back from pass thru to factory default latch mode.

The version of BlueArp is 2.3.1 - the dll is in my "Program Files/Vstplugins.." directory (common folder that can be accessed by other applications - I removed the duplicate that was provided with Unify from its internal vst folder to avoid potential conflicts).

I tried "Copy/Paste plug-in state" - it also doesn't recall BlueArp's programs and other settings

@robert-p

Many (not all) VST plug-ins have a notion of "programs" and "banks". Unify's save/load and copy/paste plug-in state functions save and recall the current program only. Layer presets and patches save the whole bank.

For what you're trying to do, it would be better to use the bank load/save functions built into BlueARP (on the Menu button).
