hi all,
just a little question
i did the windows 10 May update (version 2004) earlier this week
and yesterday i did the unify 1.1 update on my windows 10 pro x64 pc
i start it first time stand alone to drag and drop the libary file update, but unify ask me to enter my key again to unlock
today i updated my win7x64 laptop with 1.1 ...runs smooth no unlock was required
if this happens to other win 10 user who, update let me know
see yah all @ livestream
cheers Kristian
Hi,
Well it is common issue after such major OS updates, there might a need to reactivate some software apps, depending on their copy protection methods surely.
How many Unify activations left? On the profile can check.

Anytime you have to re-activate, send a note explaining why to UnifySupport@PlugInGuru.com, and we'll bump up your activation count to compensate.
thanx, yeah i will do that if its necessary
and one thing is happens with these "big os update"
windows resets all soundcards to 48 khz, ua apollo twin, onboard and uca202
was a bit coincidence that i noticed this because i´m workin on 44.1
greets kris
Well most likely those audio interfaces are using 3rd party ASIO driver(s), ASIO4ALL perhaps? In this case, yes their settings will revert to the default.

This is probably a useless contribution from me. However..
Whilst I have Unify installed normally, I also have various Sandboxie sandboxes in to which I have installed various groups of VST plugins. When I want to use those plugins, I launch Unify in to the relevant sandbox. What I found is that certain sandboxes triggered the Unify re-activation dialogue and others didn't, and it took me several hours to figure out why (ish). It was due to the presence of a Windows folder inside the sandbox, which had probably arrived by way of a call to update Microsoft .NET or something like that.
As I say, this is probably useless information but where else would I get an excuse to tell this fascinating story?
All these little bits of feedback are useful. They may point the way to understanding something else important in future, so keep 'em coming!
