Anyone experience clicks when playing say Diva presets on Unify standalone? I did search but could not find anything!
This happens when I release the keys, play the next key and it's so noticeable. If I hold down the first set of keys, then play the next set, no clicks or the FX cutting out!
These clicks are not present when playing Diva within the DAW (Cubase Pro). Also affects other instruments like Hive, Spire etc, I sometimes load Unify standalone to create multiple patches, easier and quicker than within the DAW, but finding it very annoying due to not only the clicks, but also cuts out the preset FX from within the instruments which is very noticeable, like cutting out the reverb/delay then resets but leading with a click! This affects all types of presets.
Not an issue of buffer setting as its the same settings as within the DAW running many more VST's, got a high end system with 64GB RAM, AMD 5950X, NVME drives etc.
Something within the Unify engine causing it on note release?
I tried it with the built in soundcard and my audio card (Steinberg UR44), same issue, set to 256 samples, but tried higher and lower, same issue.
I also looked at the Unify settings, I left them as defaults, I can't see anything in particular to change to resolve this issue, if there is, I'm all ears!
I have the latest Unify version available, 1.9.1, Windows 10 (latest updates).
thanks
Some plug-ins click when the host transport starts and stops. Try going to Unify's Transport view, and change the trigger mode from "MIDI / Quick Stop" to "Manual Start/Stop".
@getdunne Sorry, just a quick one, is there a way to set this as a default everytime I start Unify? It's mainly affecting the u-He plugins for some reason.
is there a way to set [a specific Transport trigger mode] as a default everytime I start Unify?
Great idea. I'll look into adding that.
