Hello,

I try to crossfade 2 different sounds  (2 layers) (as what NI is doing on their instruments like Etheral Earth (Blend A/B) button

and then use macro to crossfade .

I have found a great VST plug-in to do that (Transmutator) to crossfade and morph but it's work's using side chain

but it's seem's impossible to used side chain in unify .

can you confirm .. ? if yes  any workaround ?

  TIA.

it's seem's impossible to used side chain in unify.

The only way to make sidechain connections in Unify is to use ComboBox.

To use a macro to cross-fade between two INST layers:

  1. Create two parameter links on the same knob, e.g. one to inst/1/mixLevel, another to inst/2/mixLevel
  2. Use the reverse button to reverse the direction of one link.
  3. Adjust the curve shapes to make them slightly non-linear. Tweak until you get a nice cross-fade.

See the attached example patch (unzip, drag .unify file into Unify GUI, hit Save to save in your User Library folder).
