I am currently on Cubase 12 Windows 10. With Cubase 12 being VST 3 plugins I plan to purchase Unify and will install as a VST 3 install. I also reached out to Microtonic to see if they had a VST 3 version of Sonic Charge. They do not
Question is i assume that if i use Unify it will run Sonic Charge 2.4 VST in Unify itself in Cubase 12?
You should be able to use Unify as a VST3 in Cubase 12, to bridge any of your VST instrument plug-ins.
Also, inside Unify, you can also use any of your VST and VST3 effect plug-ins. The only thing you won't be able to do with Unify (at the moment) is bridge VST effects by themselves. Look at e.g. Blue Cat's Patchwork if you want to do that.
@getdunne Sorry just to confirm as an example I should have no issues running Sonic Charge which is only VST 2 in Unify in Cubase 12?
No problem. I have Sonic Charge myself, and it runs very nicely as a VST2 in Unify.
