Deleting a Library

Hi Shane,

Is it possible to delete an empty Library (using Finder) and rebuilding the database? I'm trying to consolidate and organize as the Unify Library collections are getting pretty massive now.

Yes, you can delete any number of libraries this way. You need to remove the whole library folder (which should be a sub-folder of Unify's main Libraries folder), then rebuild the patch database.

As for consolidating, note you cannot simply move .unify files from one folder into another, because the library-name for each patch is encoded within the file; Unify does not deduce it based on the containing folder. You need to actually load the files one at a time, and re-save them into the new library. Then you can delete the originals.
