Can someone explain to me what's the difference between these two duplication options?
I think it's the same, and perhaps it's meant to be 2x - but I’m not sure.

Thanks in advance

Duplicate 1x/3x etc..  is used when setting up layers for the PolyBox built-in MIDI effect that distributes incoming MIDI data to multiple INST layers on consecutive MIDI channels. For example, Duplicate 3x would make 3 additional duplicate layers for a total of 4. If the layer being duped is set to MIDI channel 1, the 3 new layers will be set to channels 2, 3, and 4.

From the online manual:

  • Duplicate 1x/3x/7x/15x are similar to Duplicate layer, except that
    • The specified number of duplicate layers are added.
    • IF the layer being duplicated is set to a specific MIDI channel (not “ALL”), each new layer will increment that MIDI channel number by 1.
