Hi,

I try to unify my U-he Diva librairies, but I meeting an issue when retrieving patch name in layer 1 (see picture below)

patch name in layer 1 is truncated when greather than 20 caract.
it is confusing because when I save patch it break's autokey script = (duplicate patch name)

any option in XML config file to fix it ?

TIA

@papopap

The VST2 spec declared a limit on the number of characters available for the "current program name", but it was never a hard limit. Some plug-in developers chose to ignore the limit, and return the entire string to the host. Others (including u-he in this case) slavishly followed the spec, lest they break some legacy DAW. Quite a few developers don't even implement this function, which is why you won't always see Unify display the current preset ("program") name at all. (Note if you double-click and edit a layer title, setting a custom title string, Unify will not update it dynamically anymore.)

For AutoHotKey, etc., have your script click the "Save" button at top-left in the Diva GUI, recover the full preset name from the pop-up dialog, then click its Cancel box.
