Hello i just wanted to tell people that on windows when you use Kontakt in UNIFY in FL Studio if you change parameters in the Kontakt instrument then drag to switch instruments the 'Really replace?' popup pops up behind Kontakt and wont let you accesses it to click yes.

Its not a UNIFY problem its a Kontakt problem that ive had before but there is a free app called TurboTop that lets you bring that popup to the front

I hope this helps someone

I don't have Kontact, they provided 150 versions of the program and when I wanted to load something they told me to buy the most expensive version. I work at Cubase, Omnisphere, Eastwest, Triton, and several other programs but thank you for the info.

I downloaded TurboTop because I absolutely have this problem with Unify in Windows 10 on all my DAWs, especially with Kontakt.

I was all set to report that it was not working for me. I put it on the task bar, but when I clicked on it nothing happened. I then looked online for help and found a video of someone using it. It seems it does not work from the task bar, but via the system tray on the extreme right which you open with an up arrow. This time I saw a list of my open windows. There were two windows for Kontakt and when I clicked on the second Kontakt entry, the message window popped to the top and I could answer to clear it.

Thanks for the tip, I reported the Unify problem quite a while ago and this was the solution. To be truthful, I never had this problem with Kontakt in my DAW, and it only occurred with Unify for me. Anyway, a great solution.

Thanks for keeping us all posted on your results with TurboTop.

I absolutely plan to improve Unify's handling of both window Z-order and keyboard focus, but both are very complicated issues and will take time to resolve, so this kind of work-around can be highly valuable.

I also had a manual workaround for this problem, at least for windows 10.

When I realized in a case such as Kontakt that there was a message hidden, I would go to the task bar on the bottom of the page. The icon for the DAW will be there but if you pass the cursor over the icon you will see all the windows associated (at least their thumnails). When I do this with Kontakt in Unify, I will see the thumbs for the DAW, Unify, and the message I can't see. Even though a thumb is there, you can very often read the message to which you are required to reply.

If you click on the thumb of the message, you will still not bring the message to the top, but it will put the focus on that window for your keyboard actions. For example, the Kontakt message " Really replace? (changes will be lost)". I click on the thumb, if I then hit enter, it will assume I answered "Yes", if I tab right, it will accept my answer as "No". If it is just an informational message, clicking on the thumb and hitting enter, closes the message window. This is how I have been operating, but TurboTop just feels better and assures me that I am giving the response I desire.
