Where is loud max hiding?

It appears not to be the original folder.

Thanks. Rob

It should be there. Are you on Mac or Windows?

If you're getting error messages about LoudMax being missing when loading patches, please re-download and re-run the Unify 1.1.7 installer. The very first version available for download was incorrect; this was fixed within about an hour.

I'm going to re-download the installer to make sure my version is correct. (I'll use "compare files by content" tool, so no need to re-install - if both files are the same:)

I've found that re-installing doesn't seem to make the whole difference. LoudMax appears in known plugins but it does not appear in the 'system managed' menus ie. Unify Standard > Dynamics or All Effects > Built-In.

EDIT: Sorry I was mistaken, it's under All Effects > Thomas Mundt. Should it not also be under Unify Standard though?..

@hallenberg

Thanks for spotting this. It appears there's one more change I missed. Unzip the attached file plugins.xml and overwrite the existing one at C:\Program Files\PlugInGuru\Unify\VST. The only difference is that I changed the "description" entry for LoudMax from "LoudMax 64-bit" to simply "LoudMax".

I'm working on yet another maintenance update, so this change will be included there. Please let me know if this fixes the issue, i.e., if LoudMax shows up in the "Unify Standard > Dynamics" menu. (It won't show up in All Effects > Built-In because it's not built-in; it's a separate VST.)

@ironbarkbob The file goes in C:\Program Files\PlugInGuru\Unify\VST. Drag it in, and Windows will ask you to confirm overwriting the file that's there.
