I can see where you manage the Licenses in Unify, but when I click on Manage Licenses it give me a list of site URL's, but I have no idea what they refer to. Is there a way I can figure this out using the Unify program on each computer?

Hello @kensjong,

are you talking about information shown here under Activate and set up Unify ?

https://pluginguru.net/unify/manual/doku.php?id=installing

Does this answer your questions? Hope that helps.

Greetings and God bless, Marius

No I am talking about when you login to Pluginguru.com and look under orders to view the key. There is a manage licenses section.

@KenSjong you can and should ignore that "manage licenses" link. It's an artifact, due to the license-generator system having been designed for use with web-based software.

@getdunne

So how do I deactivate a license?, and how do I know which computer I am removing the license from?

Do you need to deactivate any licenses urgently?

We don't have a method to revoke or deactivate licenses--each computer, once licensed, is licensed forever. If you run out of licenses, email John and he'll allocate another for you.

From the posts above, it appears that you cannot deactivate/deauth a device. So If I want to discard a device and/or add another device I have to always contact you?

Thank you!

Yes. We'll do our best to answer as quickly as possible, and don't worry; we don't refuse any genuine licensing request.

Thank you very much! I just feel bad to always contact you. Haha.

Is this the correct email to ask? unifysupport@pluginguru.com

Don't feel bad! We're happy to hear from our customers. Yes, UnifySupport@PlugInGuru.com is the right address (capitalization is unimportant).

Sorry for reopening this thread. I'm trying to understand how this works.

Unify license activations appear to be limited to 3 (as it says in my account) and I have an older computer I'm not using anymore. Should I now deactivate that computer under "Manage Sites"? If so, I cannot derive from the license activation number which computer it is.

Similarly, the Dreamstate license seems limited to 5 activations. Should we therefore not uninstall when adding a new computer?

I'm a bit puzzled.

Please do not use those deactivate links. Just contact UnifySupport@PlugInGuru.com with a list of libraries you need to reactivate. If you hit the limit, we can easily increase it for you.

Uninstalling software and/or libraries has absolutely no effect on license activation. Contact UnifySupport@PlugInGuru.com and we will make sure you get all your licenses activated on your new machine.
