Hi.  My Unify-related stuff is currently here: Users/Shared/PlugInGuru/Unify.  This puts it on my rather small internal SSD on my iMac.  I have a couple of much larger external SSDs.  I'm assuming that if I move this content to one of the external SSDs, the path will look like this: external SSD/PlugInGuru/Unify.  Moving it there is easy enough, but before I do it I want to be sure there's no trick to informing Unify where its content has been moved to.  (I know, I know, I'm pretty feckless when it comes to basic computer knowledge.)

There's an appendix to the Unify manual covering exactly this. Direct link: https://pluginguru.net/unify/manual/doku.php?id=moving-data

The basic trick is, after you copy everything, go to Settings in Unify, click the "Change..." button next to the "Data folder" heading, and select the new folder. Then, perform a FULL database rebuild, using the button two rows below.

If you notice afterwards, that all your favorite markings (heart icon next to patch name) have disappeared, let me know immediately, and don't throw away the file called Presets.db inside the Libraries sub-folder of your original (old) data folder. I might need you to zip and send that to me.

Hi Shane,  Everything worked except the saving of the favourites.  I've included the file you asked for.

Thank you for sending your original Presets.db file. Could you now please do the same with your NEW one? Then I can merge in the presets here for you and return an updated version.

I think you meant "here is the NEW one". Thank you. Attached is an updated version that restores your 468 favorite tags. Use it to replace the Presets.db file in the NEW location. Make sure Unify is NOT running while copying the file, then open Unify again and your favorites should be there.
