Hey there- So I wanted to make layer 1 a lower volume in BPM Pad-Blink of an Eye.  So I simply moved the mix slider to the left.  But when I used the MW up to lower the volumes of two of the layers then returned the MW to 0, the original volume of Layer 1 came back.  So I opened Guru Sampler for that channel and checked what was being controlled by the MW and didn't see anywhere it might be controlling volume.  I ended up just lowering the master volume, but wondering if anyone can tell me how the mod wheel is inversely controlling the volume of that layer.  I don't see anything moving when I move the MW on that page and volume is not listed in the MW options.   thanks.

The mod wheel (CC#1) is linked to inst/1/mixLevel on the first Macro knob. Most MIDI/parameter linkage in Unify patches is done like this.

To lower the volume of INST1 consistently, open the Linked Parameters for Macro1 (see https://pluginguru.net/unify/manual/doku.php?id=realtime-params ) and use the mouse to drag the leftmost point of the response curve downward.

To save changes to factory patches, note you MUST save to a new library; you can't overwrite the Factory patches:

  1. Click the Save button
  2. Change the Library to "User Library" (or create a new library entirely)
  3. Change the name e.g. by adding "My" at the beginning
  4. Click Save As...
