I recently set up nanocontrol 2 in Cubase, and everything works. After turning on Unify standalone, the sliders work, while turning the knobs, Aux 1 send responds, while pressing R, the inst turns off and after pressing R again, it does not want to turn on, it turns off. Pressing M and S turns on M and S in Unify, but turns off when the button is released. There is no sustain. If I want to attach individual instances, I have to do it with the mouse.

Les.

MIDI controller support is not automatic in Unify; you have to set it up yourself using a MIDI Controller file; see https://pluginguru.net/unify/manual/doku.php?id=midi-controller-files, which includes one example for the NanoKontrol 2.

The specific issue you report with the "R" buttons not functioning as toggles requires a change to the "scene data" of the NanoKontrol 2; see the section titled "Setting up the Korg nanoKontrol 2" on that same page in the Unify manual. However, this may interfere with how the controller works in Cubase.

As the manual page says, MIDI controller support remains experimental in Unify. It's not perfect.
