In addition to the feedback on the various problems encountered or wishes for new features, we must also not forget the positive feedback that we have observed and which deserve to be mentioned.

As far as I'm concerned, I actually enjoyed switching from one patch to another on the same VST (Omnisphere for example) is very fast. there is no more waiting. even on multiple layers.

concerning the wave sequence we manage very well to make very nice progressive pads. By using the midi file pad "1 measure 4 evolving" poly or mono whatever  and by setting a soft attack and release on each layer. I managed to create very nice evolutionary transitions between Omnisphere and Pigments or Unify patches (pads and Textures). it's really awesome .

  if you have other remarks you can add them here. it will surely please Shane and John 🙂

Yes completely agree - browsing through the Omnisphere libraries is now much faster.

If I was being SUPER annoying nitty picky... like... it really isn't a big deal to me whatsoever, but... "Hey Shane, here's a thing"... y'know, that kind of a deal... 😉

Sometimes, only sometimes mind you.... when I'm flicking between Skippy's OmniVerse I library presets in Unify, it doesn't catch up in time and stays on the previous loaded patch. So I have to go back one patch preset, then forward again, and then it loads in the right preset! See, I told you it wasn't a big deal 🙂 Oh, btw, I'm using an iMac Pro with 32GB of RAM, with the latest Omnisphere update (2.6.4c) & also the latest Unify 1.2.2. I told you, I'm really not having a go whatsoever!!! I just thought you ought to know in case it was "a thing" especially with users that don't have as a  powerful setup as me right now y'know‽

That is all 😘

@djtobes

Unify will ignore any attempt to load a new patch that comes less than half a second after loading the previous one.

Rescanning after adding a new library is AWESOME. Saves so much time.

@mschiff - Shane told me this would be huge for a lot of people (I have SSD drives which seem really fast) so I'm glad to hear this is a positive for you. I tell you, that Shane is a scary smart person and I'm so beyond lucky to have him as a partner it isn't even funny.

Agreed, completely about Shane. All of my drives are also SSD, but it still took a couple of minutes before. Now it is seconds.

I guess it's because I'm addicted to buying libraries and instruments. 😉 I've got 34 in Unify, and lots of others as well.
