Hi

When pressing down a key and releasing it again, the sound always stops abruptly, no matter what the decay time is set to. If I hold down one (or more) notes and press a new note and release it again the sound will decay according to the decay time set on the amp envelope. This problem only occurs when using OB-E in Unify (VST, VST3 or Standalone). It NEVER happens in any other host. I have tested in Bitwig, Komplete and Kore2. Even if I run OB-E in Komplete inside Unify, the problem is there. If I run OB-E in Komplete inside Bitwig, the problem is NOT there.

Therefore, it must be related to the Unify host

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Take care
Morten

@mljakobsen

This happens with some plug-ins (in particular Xfer Records' Serum) because Unify's internal transport starts and stops as you play notes.

Serum has a setting to allow notes to release normally even when the host transport stops, but I was unable to find anything similar in the OB-E manual.

If you set the Unify transport's Trigger Mode to Manual Start/Stop, notes will not cut off. I realize this is not a perfect/permanent solution, but it is a work-around.

@getdunne Thanks a lot
My demo of OB-E has expired, so I can't test it, but I believe this work-around solves the problem.
