Problem with Imoxplus Respiro in Unify 1.1.3
First post here, so hi to all! I have a strange problem while using Respiro by Imoxplus (a very cool modeled wind instrument plugin). I save a very simple patch (just Respiro), but when I load it, the plugin doesn't receive midi. I have to replace it with itself for it to start receiving midi again. When I load the patch, I see there is midi activity in Unify (green indicator flashes), but the plugin doesn't show any midi activity. As soon as I replace it with itself, the plugin starts showing midi activity. It happens if it's the first patch I load after opening Unify, or if I load other patches before. Any ideas, or anything else you need to help figure out what's going on?
As an aside, I tested with Reaper, and it seems to work Ok: I open the project (just one track with Respiro) and it receives midi. I close it, open it again, and it still receives midi.
Are you working on Windows or Mac? Would you be able to test an experimental version of Unify for us?
Hi Shane, I'm having the same midi problem reported in this thread with Cherry Audio Voltage Modular and Unfiltered Audio Lion. I'm on Windows 10 as well.
Thank you! I have Lion, so I'll try to reproduce the issue with that.
Yes VST3, I switched to the VST version of Lion and it now works as it should. Thanks hallenberg.
I'm waiting for confirmation from @hallenberg, but I think I have slain this VST3 issue. It will be a VERY good thing if I have, because it has been reported by several users over time.
UPDATE: Got confirmation. Looking good. Update coming in a week or so.
The vst version of Voltage Modular also works correctly. Thanks again hallenberg
Huge thanks to Shane for his effort in solving this issue!
