I am having a problem with K6 Modern Harpejji. I created a gurulink for the library, but the patches still do not load. I can go in and manually get a patch to load, but I would have to do that to every one. Error is attached.
Windows 10 current version, Kontakt 6.5.1
I reinstalled everything, but it still did not work.
Kontakt Del Norte works fine, as does Kontakt Megamagic Bells and Winds. I installed Harpejji in the same folder as the previous Kontakt libraries and created a gurulink, but Unify 1.5.1 does not find the samples.
How do you resave the library to avoid symlinks?
Do you have to resave each patch separately, or is there a way that works with Kontakt 6.5.1 to do the whole library?
It's a while since I did it but unfortunately it was a manual process. Harpejji is not many patches though so didn't take long.
I seem to recall having to search for the samples folder in Kontakt only on the first patch and then for every subsequent patch I only needed to open the Kontakt UI from Unify to resolve the missing reference. I then did a Save.. Update in Unify for each patch.
It might be doable in Autohotkey but would probably take longer to script than doing it manually (for Harpejji at least).
Impact Sound Works Modern Harpejji is a registered third-party Kontakt library, i.e., it's licensed to work even in the free Kontakt Player, so it doesn't require any symlinks.
- Download the Modern Harpejji library itself using the Pulse Downloader. Choose wherever you want to keep it.
- Run the Native Access app to register the library with Kontakt; see https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000685889-Setting-Up-a-Third-Party-KONTAKT-Library
Once this is done, the patches in the Unified - K6 Modern Harpejji library should load as expected.
