Hello to all,

i saved some user presets in a user preset folder. There are patches for which are own directories.

So i rename, add directories with a file commander. Than i moved the patches to the directories.

That is easy to organise patches in folders. But that did not work with Unify.

Is this the only way to get the new structure,

From the manual "Duplicate entries in patch browser" ?

With this method everytime the favorites are gone.

Many greetings,

Roland

Unify stores each patch's name and library-name in each patch file. Changing file names or folder locations DOES NOT do anything.

The only way to change patch names or library names is by re-saving the patches in Unify.

To put a file into a different folder, change the library name when saving it. This will create a new copy of the patch, so you will still see the old entry in the patch list. Right-click it and choose "Delete" to remove it.
