Hey Shane, I'm going to bring up one of my favorite topics. Reason and Unify. I'm using the patch 1 SHOT - 10 Chords RRR Hit. Inside the latest update to Reason which in turn ruined Graphics in Reason on the PC which I'm working with them on. But this is on my Mac, still runing Big Sur. I created a track with Unify 1.8 and I recorded an 8 bar riff using the patch I mentioned. But for some reason I keep having to re-select the patch like it's forgetting where it's sending it to. Therefore I can't do anything else because as soon as I try anything else i have to re-select the patch. Can you try this is if it does it for you, or if it keeps playing the patch. Thanks

Added after I posted above. I went and tried this in the PC version doing the same thing.

I tried all the different trigger modes with the same result. It seems to come down to when I hit the Stop button on the transport in both PC and Mac

PS I've used some of this type patch before and been successful.

I'm not sure I understand how you're setting up Reason and Unify. Are you using Unify v1.8 as a VST (VST3?) in Reason stand-alone, or is the whole lot inside some DAW?

What happens exactly? Can you play the one-shot once, and then no more?

Please try switching off "follow host" in the Unify Transport and see if that helps.

Here's something I stumbled upon today. In the past I had always had issues with "Reason included" patches hanging because of the "Login" Well today I wanted to use the new Reason Effect BV-X Vocoder inside Unify on a vocal patch. And even though I'm using Reason, which I had to "Login" to, I still had to login to the Reason rack plug-in. Which is ridiculous, but Unify handled it like a pro. So I'm using Reason inside Unify inside Reason. No problems, and no problems when opening the song file. Kudos. Now if Reason Studios will fix the graphical interface for Reason on PC's that would be wonderful.

Perhaps you should raise this issue with Reason Studios. Let them know we'll be happy to supply them with NFRs for Unify for their testing.

I've sent them so many emails about it, I don't plan on giving up until they deal with it.  I did recently figure something out though.  I created a patch called "1 SHOT - 0 Reasons Why Pre-Show Open", with a single track of Reason Plugin with no loaded sound and I load that patch first before I do anything. It will load the plugin without requiring any type of Login, and from there on out Unify will not hang on any of my Reason Plugin Patches.

Thanks!

Hope you enjoyed your time in Switzerland.
