Unify 1.6 crashing inside Reason 12 when switching between patch collections/instruments

Windows 10 / Acer System, ASIO / Roland Rubix 22, NI Komplete Keyboard, Reason 12 and Unify 1.6.  Unify inside Reason 12 keeps crashing (starts doing the 'not responding' thing in Unify, then Reason says not responding, then it might say wait or close, we wait and wait and it just crashes) when we try to change to a patch from another patch collections in Unify (for example, from a patch in UniChill to a patch in Kontakt or Omnisphere or Discovery Station).  We couldn't even get task manager to open for some reason, had to reboot.  Repeats.  Will post if we have more issues or if we figure out a remedy.  Insights or strategies appreciated.  We love creating with Unify and Reason and just want it to work.  Reason 12 is new, maybe even beta.

Thank you for reporting, and I'm sorry to hear that Unify isn't working for you. You should make sure to get the latest 1.6.2 update, although I doubt that will solve this issue. I'm pretty sure it's the same as has been reported before.

I will try to reach out to the people at Reason Studios for help on this.

@getdunne thank you, appreciate validation that we are not only ones to experience this.  Will checkout Unify 1.6.2.  Thanks for letting Reason team know.  Unify is the best and we appreciate it. 😎 

Cubase, Reason, Ableton all have strengths

Would be curious if one seems most compatible with Unify.  Earlier versions of Reason and Unify seemed to do very well together.

Beta tester Kendall Cochran (@pbeprod) reported this issue quite some time ago. I emailed Reason Studios on 10 June, 2021, offering NFR license for Unify, etc., but have still not received a reply. @laurarosemisaras could you please report this to them as a service issue, and mention that I have attempted to reach them.

Hey I’m continually sending messages to reason support still trying to get them to respond. I created smaller patches with just one instance of reason plug-in on it as a go between other patches and my larger more complicated unify reason patches and that seems to help. sometimes. On a positive note Unify seems to run way better when used in Reason.
