Hi
I bought Unify today for my mac I have downloaded the DMG file and installed it successfully but when I try to open the app I immediately get a message saying Unify quit unexpectedly.
I have tried restarting the mac-re-installing the DMG and re downloading the DMG with the same result.I have copied the error report.Does anyone out there understand it and what I might have done wrong.
I have E mailed PlugInGuru but they are all at NAMM !! would appreciate any help

Hi Nicky. Don't worry, we're not all at NAMM yet. Skippy is on US Pacific time and is probably just getting up as we're both working long nights right now.

This issue is affecting ALL Unify users on Mac right now, and I'm rushing to get an update out TODAY.

Please re-download the Unify installer (Unify_Mac_1.0.2.dmg) and try again. I have just uploaded a new one.

Hello @getdunne and @nickycrow1,

Edit: Oh, this was an unexpectedly fast fix and it works!

Even my subsets were recognized!! I am very happy!

Thanks for your report, Nicky!

Good to hear that I am not the only one who is affected by this problem on mac.

I am sure Shane will do everything to fix this as quickly as he can.

Greetings and God bless, Marius

@mj_prod and @nickycrowl, please post here if this update works for you.

After you re-download and run the installer, if you still get an error, reboot and try one more time.

I'm dreadfully sorry about this!

Hello @getdunne and fellow unify users,

the update works on my Mac mini MacOS 10.14.4 and the re-downloaded Unify 1.0.2.

Someone should also be adding on the troubleshooting site that mac users should re-download their mac installer.

Please post here in this thread if it works for you, too!

Update for Catalina users: There is just one Unify_1.0.3.dmg installer that installs on Catalina, too in your account!

I tested standalone and following DAWs:

Ableton Live 10 Suite 10.1.6 AUi

Logic Pro X 10.4.8 AUi Validation necessary

Mainstage 3.4.3 AUi Validation necessary

Mixbus32c-5 AUi

Reaper 6.02 AUi, VST, VST3 Plugin scan necessary

Both Reason 10 10.4.1d4 and Reason 1111.1d9 didn't recognise unify on my Mac mini but I made an alias unify_.vst visible on both reason.

Remember, this was just on my mac, it may be flawless on your system and I have no clue about the original unify.vst not being scanned.

Also I can play AiR VacuumPro 1.0.7  I got from pluginboutique.com and

Lennar Digital Sylenth1 Version 3.063 I got from Lennar Digital itself.

Update 1:

Slate Digital: SSDSampler (aka Steven Slate Drums 4):ver:1.102 AU beta2: Only AUi works, needs the path to the license file in Settings

Steven Slate; SSDSampler 5 ver 1.0.8 both AUi and VST versions work, even license file path is correct

Remember, these work for me on a MAC and might not yet work on PC. I'm glad for testing further issues on Win7 and MacOS 10.14.4.

I am very gracious for the success and and for the time @getdunne invests.

Thank you Shane!

Greetings and God bless, Marius
