Hi Shane,

Β

A small bug to report. Β The resize function of the window for the 1st screen is fine but when I was looking to investigate the 'Arrival' presets and opened the Unify within, this window was not resizable and I could not see the right hand side and bottom of the window.

Β

Thanks again for your hard work. Β So excited to play with MIDIbox πŸ™‚

Well after a little more playing I think I have discovered what it may be. Β

Β

If you create a new empty INST layer and select Unify as your VST then select your own preset within the browser of the new instance then the window remains resizable.

If you add a 'Unify' preset from the 'Load Into New Unify Layer' option and open up Unify, the window is no longer resizable.

Β

Hope this helps.

Regards, Chris

I believe this is being addressed, temporary work around is to close any unresizable windows then change the GUI size to 100% in the settings menu. Reloading Imbedded Unifys should now open properly.

Edit: added the word "Reloading" to the last sentence.

There are actually two separate issues at work here:

  1. Plug-in GUI windows are not resizable.
  2. Unify's GUI scaling implementation works poorly for embedded Unify windows.

I hope to have a solution to both these issues eventually. I may have a solution for the first one quite soon. The second is much more challenging.

For what it's worth I have the same issue on Win7 in Studio One Pro.

Unify v1.1.3 will be available within the hour. It supports resizable plug-in windows, but does not fix the Unify GUI scaling issue.
