@getdunne Should we be adding Loudmax, or anything else besides just the instrument and selected patch when creating a "Factory" unified library?
If so, what settings should we use?
Are there any other "Standards and Practices" we should be following for uniformity?
We now have some automated tools for adding standard effects like LoudMax. Unless you are very experienced, just make each unified patch super-simple: a single INST layer, with an instance of the target plug-in, loaded with the target patch.
Concentrate your efforts on naming the patch (including standard prefixes such as KEY, GTR, etc.; see https://www.dropbox.com/s/8e7zjdfyu9wkm7o/Unify%20Patch%20Naming%20Structure.pdf?dl=0), and copying any comments, tags/category, author name, etc. from the original patch.
You may want to adjust the main volume within the plug-in, for patches that are too loud (very common) or too quiet (less common). The VU meter on the INST1 layer should ideally not go into the red when playing normally.
