It would be great to have at least file date but also comments in the purchased products section of My Account. For example, I was looking for the Unified set for MegaMagic Pads and couldn't find it. Eventually figured out the "u" in the new filename meant Unify. As I keep a copy of the files I download locally, if I ever wanted to check for an update I'd be able to see the file date online and compare to the one I've downloaded and see if I need to download.

Or use version numbering for the files, which I'd prefer anyway.

I agree, but we didn't write the web software used for PlugInGuru.com, so we have limited ability to change anything about it.

I use Easy Digital Downloads and they have very minimal things I can add to the download files. I have asked and I'll ask again! I wish I could provide date and all sort of details but can't right now. Sorry.

@pluginguruforums What about just throwing in a version number in the name of the file? Doesn't have to have comments but at least I know that there's a more recent version uploaded than what I had.

So for example on the latest CloudCity update the filename could be called "CloudCity-1.1". Don't need official version control on the website but then it's more obvious that the file has been updated from the original version. Or another way is to indicate the release date, like "CloudCity-20200724". Then it's super-clear that file was uploaded on July 24, 2020.
