It would be handy to see the knob value of the macro.

Hi, here is a workaround:

What "value" would you like to see? A fraction 0.0 to 1.0? A percentage? An equivalent MIDI CC number 0-127?

The main case where an exact value is needed is when trying to set two knobs the same. The "copy value" and "paste value" functions are available (click the concentric-circles icon next to the knob) for this.

After using "copy value", you can also paste into an open text editor to see the fractional value 0.0 - 1.0.

If there's an important use-case I'm missing, please explain.

e.g. in the following usecase:
when selecting a pattern e.g. in midibox with a macro knob I would like to which knob value corresponds with which pattern.

Ah, I see. You can get this using the "copy value" / paste to a text editor technique. How would you use this value?
