Could there be a way to close Unify without closing the Synth?

Now, when you close Unify the synth gets closed with it automatically. but sometimes you don't want Unify open on the screen because of space restrictions while you do want the synth to be open.

Would be cool if there were a button to close only Unify

Regards,

Geert.

Interesting suggestion. I'll think about it, but I doubt it's possible because the Unify window is the "parent" of the individual GUI windows.

@getdunne What about so Unify "parent" just minimizes into a tiny window or icon that can be tucked away or hidden off to the side, and resized back to full interface at will, like with a KEYBOARD SHORTCUT (hint, hint, please give us keyboard shortcuts, like especially to save and update patches hint hint)

Keyboard shortcuts in a DAW are incredibly complicated, and there's a risk that the keystrokes may go to the DAW (or some other open plug-in) rather than Unify. That's why the only shortcuts we have now require a mouse click together with one or more modifier keys.

Many DAWs already allow "minimizing" individual windows. Cakewalk by Bandlab, for example, just uses ordinary window title-bars, which include a standard minimize/maximize button. Imagine the support headaches if we added a custom minimize function to Unify. "Unify just disappeared, what do I do?" Not happening.
