Would it be possibble to make Unify to handle external Midi devices please ? If you have e.G. a Yamaha Moxf8 or Roland Integra7, it would be great to be able to use Unify to handle the sound of the external devices with the delivered VSTIeditors. To be able to hear the sound you would need to have external audio inputs. With this you could make your songs independent from the DAW/OS: you could save the layers in Unify including audio vst's and save the Midi files paralell. Remark: it should work now with virtual instruments.

@pottz I hear you. I'm working on this.

Note this is possible in Unify stand-alone (I've done it experimentally already), but will basically never work inside a DAW. Stand-alone apps have direct access to MIDI and Audio I/O ports; plug-ins do not.
