Hello,
It really would be cool when you use LATCH mode, that the note(s) you have pressed will be colored and stay lit up (like when you play normally) so you remember which note you pressed when playing / recording live.
The would be a great feature to have as is visualizes what you are doing.
Cheers
Hendrik
Yes nice idea, and I also want to have latch mode that just holds the last played notes, but clears them the next time you play keys.
@wavesequencer Thanks Paul. Looking forward to it. Keep up the good work with UNIFY 2 - Love to work with it!
Note that I have implemented the new latch mode, but also, latched notes are already shown on each layer if the layer keyboard display is enabled.
Might be nice to add more info on the main UI keyboard, but that's going to have to wait for a future release after the current one being prepared (and that would be tricky as the master keyboard display is one level up logically over the individual layers and their latch status - it's just showing raw midi input for all layers).
@wavesequencer Thank you Paul. This is much appreciated. Will this new latch feature being bundled in new maintenance release update of UNIFY 2?
We'll be releasing a 2.06.0 build after testing.. some major upgrades are 3 new MIDI effects, updated UIs for Notemate and the Stepsequencer (allowing keyswitching between up to 16 'sets', as well as adding the remote parameter control for that).
Some bug fixes and minor UI tweaks coming too (including a pop-up menu to re-order effects if the window is too small to do the drag/drop operation).
