Since the 1.6.1 Update is out I start playing with the new "variation" feature, trying to set-up some sort of plugin switcher for comparinge different SSL chanelstrips.

The basic idea is to use knobs 1 to 7 for adjusting Frequencies and Levels on all channel strips at once and use Macro Knob 8 to step trough the plugins to enable/disable them one by one. But this only works if the used plugins have a dedicated Bypass or an on/off switch which is automatible via "Linked Parameters". But a lot of plugins don't have that. So this is only possible if the bypass switch for the inserts could be automated.

So therefore, since the Master Layer, AUX Layers and every Plugin insert in Unify has a dedicated bypass button, it would be great to be able to automate their on/off state parameter via Macros.

Thank you.

@klasus

Adding the ability to automate bypass-state for individual plug-ins is on the to-do list, but it's quite complicated and may take a while.
