Requesting for a midi function that can split incomming midi notes to different layer in a way like Divisimate do it.

Let`s say I add 4 layer. When I play one note all 4 layer would play unisoni with some randomisation to different parameter like velocity, note length, timing offset and other CC parameter.

When I play two notes at the same time then each note is sent to two layer and so on ...

Look at this video:

THanks.

That's quite interesting. How would you personally use such an effect in a musical context?

Primarly for some orchestra stuff. Making some solo instruments (like the very expressive SWAM Instruments) playing like an ensemble.

But also usefull to make monophonic VSTs playing polyfonic etc ... There are alot of possibilities. And there would be a great addition to the possibilities of the Combo / Jitter Box ....

I am REALLY glad that you have shared this... I am looking around prior to purchasing Plugin-Guru.  I am planning to purchase either way.  However, my senior priority is software which supports SWAM series and other Physically Modeled instruments.  If this has patches, i'll be jumping on it.  If not, then i'll need to "Circle Back".

Would you (by chance) be able to point me toward any examples or patches of Unify with SWAM currently functional?

I thank you for ANY/ALL time which you lend to informing me in advance.

@sekrit_skworl

Unify is just a plug-in host. It should be able to load and play Audio Modeling's SWAM plug-ins, but it doesn't have any special "support" for them.

@getdunne, apologies for my lack of clarity.  I was simply looking to find out if there are patches for them like the seemingly endless omnisphere, kontakt, and other instrument types (even if only a couple)...  I don't know if i'm stating this right, but on the stream, Skippy usually uses the term "Unified".  I'm wondering if "SWAM" has been "Unified".

@sekrit_skworl

As far as I know, there hasn't been any work done to make unified patch libraries for any of the SWAM plug-ins.

There's a section of the Forum specifically about unified libraries at https://forums.pluginguru.com/unify-patchbook/. You might want to ask there, to see if anyone is working on this.
