Hi,

I'm searching for 1shot checkbox in the pump house effect .. as I can find it in guru sampler lfo ..
it should be simple to add it, and can change a lfo to a enveloppe , and extend the possibilities to this great effect !

TIA.

Interesting suggestion, although not actually "simple to add", and I'd need to be convinced that the results would be worth the effort.

The main issue with adding a one-shot mode to Pump House is how to trigger it? Guru Sampler is an instrument, hence receives input MIDI, and the one-shot LFO is triggered by MIDI note-on events. Pump House is a pure audio effect (audio in, audio out), and does not presently receive MIDI, so there are two choices for how to add triggering: either make Pump House into a MIDI-controlled effect (allowing MIDI triggering), or add input threshold detection (so it triggers as soon as the input level rises from silence). Both are possible, neither are quite "simple".

Can you give one or two examples of how you would use a triggered one-shot mode in Pump House, to accomplish something that could not already be done with features already in Unify?

hi GetDunne,

i just want to be able to set up an ADSR envelope based on a sound (that comes out of the VST instrument). for example : i use drone sounds that are infinite and i want to control the ADSR by using a curve . LFO curves allow to do this, but the problem is that at the end of the curve, the cycle starts again.

the triggering is done on the principle of the curve execution except that instead of repeating the curve indefinitely, we stop at the end of the first execution.
the rest is unchanged, tempo, etc ..

this functionality should be very useful when creating complex patchs (multi layers),

for ex : transforming a organ sound into a pluck sound !.
same idea with drone sounds, pad sounds, or Fx sounds

TIA

Thanks for the explanation. I'll keep this in mind for the future.

Note that for now, you can do this with GateKeeper by Polyverse Music.

Good finding - there is no need to reinvent the wheel as long as we have the GateKeeper.
