Request for search for known plugins

Hi

Would be nice to implement the ability to either search for a known plugin and/or start typing the first few letters of a plugin right on the list to narrow down the results?
Right now, you literally have to scroll down the list which is ever growing and a pain! 
Had issues of older versions of some plugins remaining, so having to manually delete them then rescanning, but it's always a case of scrolling down until eventually finding it.
