I lose all my changes if I forget to save and click on a new patch.

Hello @rikelliott and @rainbro,

this happens to me a lot, too.

I think a warning message will come within the next update.

Greetings and God bless, Marius

To everyone: I'm hearing this message LOUD AND CLEAR, thank you.

I won't have this ready for the coming 1.0.5 update (because it's not a simple thing to add) but it's high on the priority list.

In the meantime, at the risk of sounding flippant, I have to say save early and often! All "newborn" software is notorious for crashing, and going a long time between saves is just tempting fate.

When you first begin working on a patch, I'd suggest giving it a name and saving it into your User Library right away. You can always delete it later if necessary. After that, you can Option-click (Mac) or Ctrl-click (PC) on the Save button to quick-save your changes without the save dialog even appearing.
