It occurred to me that true random is good but an early/late option would be useful.

So if the range of randomness could be moved to favor early or favor late via 2 tick boxes that would be useful.

Obviously having randomness being 100% early or late would not be ideal. maybe 80% chance of being early or late is better.

Can you explain your reasoning? It's not clear to me why an X% chance of random variation is an improvement.

Note that in a real-time MIDI effect, "early" isn't possible, because once an incoming event has occurred, there's no way to move it earlier. There are thus only degrees of lateness.
