Shane, could you please add a keyboard shortcut "F" to toggle whether the current patch is a favorite? It would be nice when previewing patches with the up/down arrow keys to tag a patch as a favorite without having to reach for the mouse.

Great idea. I'll be able to add such things more easily once I find out why Unify sometimes gets keystrokes and other times does not. This is one of several areas I'm consulting with a JUCE expert about.

I have just added this into what will become Unify v1.2.

Shane, is there a way to switch off or re-assign "F" from toggling the favorite patch function? It is causing me trouble while entering notes via a computer keyboard, where the F key functions as part of the scale. This note doesn't sound, and instead toggles the favorite meta tag.

Ah yes, one man's cool addition is another man's workflow killer.

I'll look into adding something for this...

@getdunne Thank you Shane; very much appreciated! It is a useful feature though.

While I'm probably being obvious here, one suggestion is to implement a keystroke assignment method as Apple has in the MacOS under System Preferences (Keyboard -> Shortcuts). I couldn't attached a screenshot, but here's a video showing the method in action. This is a fairly fancy and probably requires too much work for now, but a suggestion that may be useful someday.
