I've noticed since version 2 that when you edit multiple patches successively on different VSTs (Omnisphere, Guru Sampler 2, Vital, Hyperion, or others), Unify 2 (standalone or Reaper) crashes after a few modifications to several patches.
Have you noticed this ?

This is not something I've heard about from other Unify2 users so far. There are always individual cases where a particular setup/plugin state might lead to a crash, but as far as I'm aware we're not seeing multiple user reports of crashing whilst editing plugin patches.
The plugin hosting code hasn't really changed in Unify2 compared to Unify1 - there are of course UI changes and it's possible there is something there in a particular sequence of edits that might cause a crash - so ideally we can try to repeat and see if it's a specific plugin or edit operation sequence that triggers a crash.
(As you can see in John's livestreams, we've rarely seen any crashes (one time with Kontakt8 due to some issues with 're-use' rules I think that no longer work well with Kontakt 8 specifically) and he often demonstrates and edits multiple different plugins during his streams. I was also able to run Unify2 standalone for 3 days in a row doing demos at Synthfest France, whilst loading multiple patches, hosting Diva and Hyperion, editing patches.. and not a single crash (on a M4 Mac mini with the latest OS).
The windows build currently includes a logging tool that you can launch via the settings panel - on the first/UI settings tab if you scroll to the developer entry area you can type in "ShowGuruLogTools" - you can then start a logging session by clicking the checkbox that will appear (it may require you to approve network access for the process that is then launched).
A new application will launch (a tool which is bundled with the main application on installation) which captures log events from Unify2 until you close Unify2, then it will automatically close and save the log file into your documents folder /PluginGuru/Unify2/Logs/
This might also help us to identify what is going on - for the moment the amount of logging enabled is relatively minimum, but it can point us in the right direction and help us see if you had a similar usage scenario during a crash.
Best to email the results (ideally from multiple sessions where you saw a crash) to support@pluginguru.com and it will get forwarded to me, or ideally join us on the discord server to chat about this. You can also share any crash logs from Windows or the DAW that you are using.

Since I reset the Windows display scaling to 100% (instead of 120%), I’ve noticed that the crashes have stopped.
I don’t know if this is the root cause, but I wanted to mention it in case it helps anyone else experiencing the same issue.

Interesting - thanks. Well I will also try with non-standard scaling in Windows and see if I get any issues.
