Hi,
When a Unify patch is set up for live use to include multiple synths along with drums (e.g. Jamstix4) then it would be very helpful to be able to control the relative level of the synths all together vs. the drums.
I realize that in a simple scenario one could adjust just the level of the drums followed by the Global Gain. This of course sacrifices the true intended use of the Global Gain though, which would be to balance everything coming out of Unify with whatever else is going on outside of Unify.
So, the desired solution, I think, is to be able to designate Mix Groups (e.g. all the Synths in this case) which would allow the user to raise/lower the synths/drums independently without needing to involve the global gain.
Also in general, there may be more than 2 Mix groups required (e.g. Synths, Basses, Drums).
The simplest way to do what you ask is to use an embedded Unify instance for each mix group, then do your group-level adjustments using layer level sliders in the top-level Unify.
Thank you. I will look into that!
