Midi files (map of percussion instruments)

Hi Shane

I have a question, midi files that are in MIDIBOX in UNIFY libraries sound different when I want to play them, for example in Calewalk or Cubase (Halion Sonic). Are the percussion sounds set in the same UNIFY libraries as the percussion map in Halion?

Perhaps I asked the question wrong, but sometimes I would like to insert midi files made in Halion into MIDIBOX but they do not sound there, (other instruments sound)

Regards

Leszek

John uses a MIDI map which is like the General MIDI standard drum-map, but offset by one octave. I will ask him to comment with more detail here, but in the meantime, try transposing these MIDI files up or down by one octave.

I can confirm that the standard Unify library MIDI drum files work fine with Halion 6 drum kits when you transpose them down 1 octave. At least the few that I tried worked OK.
