Hello. New here to Unify. Really impressed with what I have seen so far. (Sorry if this topic might not exactly fit this particular forum thread, but seemed like the best fit.)
An earlier Plugin Guru video from 10/2020 ('Unify Installed.... Now what?'), John showed his 'Native Instrument Mashine Jam' controller for modifying patch parameter settings. Nice! But it appears that the Mashine Jam is no longer being produced. Used ones can be acquired on eBay for a decent price. I was wondering if anyone might have other controller recommendations to look at? Maybe something newer that is still being manufactured? Or is the 'Mashine Jam' still a worthwhile investment even though no longer produced?
Thanks.
You can map CC control messages from any MIDI controller to Unify's macro knobs, so start with whatever MIDI controller you already have.
The Maschine Jam is nice because its touch-faders can be operated with multiple fingers at the same time, and the LEDs show the current positions. I don't know of any other controller currently on the market that is similar, but others might.
