Problem with using a Yamaha volume pedal with Roland A 88 MK2 to Unify I only get either soft or loud, with Yamaha MIDI grand C3 to Unify I get a smooth transition from soft to loud.
What can I do about it?
Thanks in advance.
With musical regards

@bkollee

Your screenshot shows the pedal is sending CC#67. The only fixed volume assignments in Unify v1.1.10 are CC#7 and CC#11. How are you setting up CC#67 to control volume?

MIDI CC response can be complicated, because individual plug-ins may respond in their own ways.

Hi Shane

Thanks for your reaction.
On a forum I read that intermediate cables are required for the Yamaha FC7 to function properly with a Roland A 88 MK2. See https://brianli.com/how-to-use-a-yamaha-fc7-pedal-with-roland-kurzweil-keyboards/. I ordered those cables and hopefully the expression pedal can be used with that.

Greetings,

Boy Kollée

Solved. Yamaha FC 7 Works now perfectly with the cables in Unify.

Great news, and it's great to have this here in the Forum where others (who might have similar problems) can find it in future.
